Together we are a community of believers. What does that mean, the word community? We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe that together we grow stronger. We are a community of believers.

We strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. Most churches find it is comfortable to stay within the walls, but we make it an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our city changed.

We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship, and ultimately growing closer to God. We value the word of God, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken, and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.

The mission of Life Community Church is the same mission Jesus gave every believer, it's called the Great Commission.  Around here we say it this way: our mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

We see Life Community Church as a dynamic, Spirit filled church, full of Real People on a journey towards God; learning to live out Real Faith in our everyday lives and sharing Real Hope with everyone we meet.

From Pastor Lane:

Our Mission and Vision are pretty simple, they come straight from the Great Commission and Great Commandment.  Around here we say that our mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. From those who are still "kicking the tires" of faith in Jesus, to those that have been serving Him for a long time, we believe the church's job is to help them move from where they are to where God wants them to be.

Our vision is the picture we have of our preferred future, what we want our church to look like 5, 10, even 15 years from now. The picture is easy to describe, REAL.  It's as simple as that; we want our church to be real.  Real people, real faith, real hope, because we serve a real God.  We're not a perfect church and we know it, but that just makes us look like the church described in the New Testament.  The Bible is full of the stories of imperfect people being used by God to do incredible things, so we feel like we fit right in.

Do we know exactly where God will take us or what we will be doing in the next 5, 10, 15 years?  Not exactly, and if going through COVID taught us anything, it was that even our best plans may have to change.  We may not know exactly what the future holds, but we do know that God wants to use us to impact our community, so that's what we are going to do. Wherever God leads and directs us to go in the future, we will go; passionately pursuing His presence and refusing to be anything but REAL.
